Season photos and a few words on the success and conlcusion of RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Racing.
The RCH/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing team had a successful 2017 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Season, which featured 12 rounds at the most iconic motocross facilities across the United States. Continuing the tradition and kicking off in May at Hangtown MX in Sacramento, California, the series boasted the top motocross athletes in the world as it traveled across country throughout the summer, ultimately concluding August 26 at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana.
RCH Racing was born after combining the efforts of 15-time AMA Champion Ricky Carmichael and co-founder Carey Hart. RCH immediately signed up-and-coming German Ken Roczen who went on to have his breakout season and win the team’s first 450 MX Championship in the summer of 2016.
The team continued to make a name for itself, and most recently led Justin Bogle to his first-ever career overall win (1-3) at the Budds Creek National last August aboard his Suzuki RM-Z450.
The announcement came this past summer that Suzuki and RCH Racing would be ending their partnership at the end of 2017, but the team’s legacy will continue to live on, often referred to as the most successful privately funded outfit in American Motocross.
