BoostLine Connecting Rods, from Wiseco, has become the exclusive sponsor of the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series premier class, Drag Radial, in 2017. The BoostLine Connecting Rod Drag Radial class is the premier Drag Radial class in the country for LS-powered machines, which compete in the four-race CP Challenge Series.
“We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the launch of our BoostLine connecting rod line than to sponsor a class of high horsepower, boosted LS engines – exactly what BoostLine rods are designed for,” said Sean Crawford, Director of Marketing at Wiseco.
Now available to engine builders and race teams around the world, the patent-pending, 3-pocket design was created specifically for demanding turbocharged, supercharged and big nitrous applications such as those found in the top class of the CP Challenge Series. These connecting rods are ideal for today’s high horsepower engines and provide 60% more bending strength compared to common H-beam rods. Each rod is designed, finished and inspected in the USA and includes an inspection report from the BoostLine quality team.
